Rich Michaelson Director Rich Michaelson has been in media relations, commercial broadcast media and media consulting for the past thirty years. A native of Everett, Washington, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Auburn University.

He started his media career in the United States Air Force servicing 20 years in communications and audiovisual presentations field. After returning to civilian life he began working for the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA) in Montgomery. Working with company like Mercedes, Boeing and Honda officials to coordinate company relocation announcements and groundbreaking ceremonies in Alabama.

He also worked closely with each of the last five governors on related media events. Additionally, he developed and formed the Business Center of Alabama’s Broadcast Center. This one of-a-kind facility was a satellite uplink and broadcast facility dedicated to business and corporate clients statewide. While at the Business Center he developed the first videoconferencing public meeting room in the city of Montgomery.

In 1999, Rich left the EDPA to work for the Business Council of Alabama (BCA). While there he formed the Alabama Business Broadcast Center and became its first Director. A year later he saw an opportunity to the relocate the Broadcast Center to a new facility and upgrade all the key equipment in the Alabama Center for Commerce Conference Center.

2004 another opportunity came which allowed changing company ownership to Raycom Media in a company buyout from the BCA. Raycom Media as a television broadcast group with over 3700 employees owns/operates 46 TV stations, 3 in Alabama; and Raycom Sports. In 2010 relocated studio and offices to the RSA headquarters building and completely up graded the entire production capability to full HD studio and post production and uplink capabilities.

Since becoming a part of Raycom Media, Rich has worked with many commercial broadcast networks, regional television stations and every news director in the in the state. His national media contacts include every major network along with cable news and local network affiliate.

Scott Morrison Assistant Director Scott Morrison has been producing videos for over a quarter of a century.

He grew up as a military “brat” living all across the United States, Europe and Asia. He followed in his parents footsteps, and came to Alabama to attend what was then known as Troy State University. In 1991, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism / Advertising.

Since then, he has shot countless hours of video for news and entertainment programming and directed live news and sports broadcasts as well as pre-taped shows. Not to mention the thousands of local and regional commercials that he has produced.

He has worked as a Creative Services Producer, Marketing / Promotion Manager, News Videographer, Programming Coordinator, Production Technician and more at local television and radio stations across northwest Florida and Central Alabama.

He is currently the Assistant Director at Broadview Media, which means he wears many hats. Duties include acting as the Director of Photography, serving as Chief Editor and Digital Content Manager, as well as the Executive Producer for the Alabama High School Athletic Association broadcasts of “Path to the Playoffs”.

Scott’s better half is also in the media business and he has three kids that take up most of his time outside of work.

He is a music lover, so when he does get some free time, you can probably catch him at a concert. Other hobbies include photography and anything to do with getting outside and being active, such as hiking, camping, bike riding, canoeing, snorkeling, etc.
